Igniteus Consultancy is a training and life-coaching company that seeks to ignite the zest for life in the hearts of individuals through the programmes that we offer. We believe that every person deserves living life to the fullest – where there is passion, excitement and a sense of fulfilment in living each day.
Beyond the self, Igniteus Consultancy believes in the power of “US”. We believe that there is power when ignited individuals come together, to form a strong community. As the saying goes, “no man is an island”.
Therefore, we aim to build communities amongst the people we work with, so that there will be sustainability, strength and support within the communal tribe.

More than a “bad boy”
John* often got into trouble. He was often up to no good thing, causing trouble both at home and in school.
He was referred to one of our programmes. Living up to his reputation, John got into trouble countless times each day.
One day, my colleague and I sat him down for a chat. We listened to his thoughts about himself, then shared with him our heart for him.
Us: “John, do you know that your coaches here believe in you? We believe that you are good. You are kind. I saw you care for the small boy at the playground swing…”
As we spoke, tears formed in John’s eyes. He shared that no one has ever said that he is good.
That led to an opening for us to come up with a plan together, for John to grow in self-awareness, social-awareness and self-control.
Proud to say, John overcame. As he saw himself more accurately in a positive manner, he became a better version of himself.
Today, John is 11 and continues to be a joy to us all at our programme.

Overcoming
Cycles of Defeat
Ming* was 14 years old when he was selected by the school to be part of a special Leadership Programme.
This programme aims to help individuals discover their identity and values, and to eventually become confident leaders of the Self and others.
When Ming first joined the programme, his greatest struggle was being able to express himself. He did not have any friends. People struggled communicating with him. It was observed that he could not even finish a sentence with someone else before running away.
This affected Ming’s confidence. During our coaching sessions, negative beliefs about himself surfaced. These beliefs led to an endless cycle of defeat as Ming would often react due to his own beliefs about himself.
As we walked through each of these beliefs, handles were given to Ming to overcome the cycle and to be a better communicator.
A few weeks later, Ming came to me, excited to share an update. He shared that he started a conversation with a friend in school, and was able to hold the conversation! That was something Ming could never do in the past. Ming was particularly excited by the fact that his friend was interested to hold the conversation with him.
